North Yakima School Board Elects Teachers
The North Yakima school board elected B. F. Barge as president with R. K. Nichols and Miles Cannon as members. They filled 25 teaching positions, denying raises to principals Ella Stair and F. H. Plumb despite offers elsewhere. Frank E. McGiness was replaced by Asa W. Schwartze, amid broader tensions with the city superintendent. A riding party and upcoming graduation at Larson's theater followed, with a detailed program announced for the ceremony.
