Bankers Break An Old Ruling On North Yakima Loans
San Francisco loan committee of the German Savings and Loan association, led by W E Steinweg, visited North Yakima to inspect development in the Yakima valley. After a tour and discussions, they decided to break their 50 000 loan rule and consider further loans, with a 50 000 loan already tentatively approved for North Yakima and more possible upon favorable conditions. The visit followed Steinweg’s persistent efforts to interest the California bankers in regional opportunities.
