North Yakima School District approves 10817 dollar payouts

The North Yakima school board authorized 10817.61 to settle district bills last night. Of this total 8408.70 covered teacher and janitor salaries for 97 teachers and 11 janitors, while 2408.91 paid for repairs disinfectants and supplies.

Deer in Ranch Corral Stays as Game Board Considers Release

A Wide Hollow rancher found a buck deer in his cattle corral Sunday morning and the animal remains there uninjured. The deer wandered in on its own and may be kept until the rancher decides whether to move it. The game department is likely to request its release under current law.

The Yakima County November expense report compiled by Frank M. Bomb Found at Roberts Iron Works in Tacoma

Police learned that a dynamite bomb was found in September 1910 at the Roberts Iron and Steel works in Tacoma. Hotel records identified James B. McNamara and Ortie McManigal as guests at the Jaeger hotel the day before the discovery and their departure the day of the find.
