Drowned Yakima Man Roscoe “Bob” Thomas in Wenatchee
Roscoe Thomas 25 known as Bob and eldest son of Capt J H Thomas of Yakima City drowned in the Wenatchee River near Mission after cramping during a log ride from rapids. He was found Sunday afternoon eight miles downstream and funeral services were held in Yakima with many floral tributes.

Bones of T W Rathbun Found by Hunters
Patrick O Fiel and A Beck discovered the remains and gear of trapper Rathbun on a Litt Klickitat River ravine while on a hunting trip. Found items include a torn garment, bones, a watch, knife, hat, rifle, food remnants, and possible evidence of foul play or a fall leading to suicide. Only some bones remained, showing gnaw marks from animals.
