Relief recipients ordered to repay relief funds

Town ship relief director John Breckenridge announced that several families must return money obtained from the relief committee after an internal check found funds were available to some. In Ford s one family repaid 161.40 and three Keasbey families returned 119.50 75 and 66.75 totaling 422.66.

Local Youth Involved in String of Thefts And Breaks

A New Brunswick area juvenile, released on probation, escaped from a matron and returned to Woodbridge. He and three other minors admitted breaking into five local stores including No. 1 School and No. 5 School, stealing fire extinguishers, foodstuffs, a recording meter valued at 350 dollars, and a bell Telephone Co asset. Lions Club to Elect Officers at June Meeting

Andrew Long named chair of a nominating committee to draft a new slate of officers for the Lions Club at the regular Monday session at the Gray Log Cabin.
