Port Reading Fatal Auto Accident Claims Child
A seven year old girl, Joan Samon, died after being struck by a car driven by Brevie Kapusky in Port Reading. Kapusky, a 31 year old welder from Geant Street Port Reading, posted $1,000 bond for arraignment on manslaughter charges as investigations continue. Funeral services for the victim were held Tuesday at St Anthony’s Church and interment followed at St James Cemetery. The accident occurred Saturday about 6 pm near the Perth Amboy area after the vehicle struck the child near First Street.

Reckless Driving Charge Set After Port Reading Crash
Bidreas Szizmadia of Hawthorne New Jersey faces a reckless driving charge with a hearing next Tuesday evening in Port Reading court following a 4 PM accident on Woodbridge Avenue. The car, driven by Szizmadia and owned by Louis Bills, struck a westbound car on Ubridge Avenue injuring Walter Sr. who was a passenger in the other vehicle.
