Turner Seeks Re election to Sewaren Fire District Board

Frederick H. Turner of Sewaren seeks another term on the Board of Commissioners for District No. 1, after six years of service. He stands as the sole candidate to succeed himself, with five district seats up for election February 21. Turner, longtime Sewaren civic leader, helped acquire the inhalator device for resuscitation and has been praised for cost-saving equipment purchases and fiscal stewardship.

Red Cross Adds $500 to Township Unemployed Fund

The Woodbridge Chapter of the American Red Cross adds $500 to the Township unemployment fund, bringing its total contribution to $900. Patrick J Murphy Jr Dies After Brief Illness

Patrick J Murphy Jr eight year old son of Mr and Mrs Patrick J Murphy of McFarlane Road Colonia died yesterday afternoon after a brief illness at Perth Amboy City Hospital.
