Four Men Sent to Deer Lodge in County Court
Judge S. Paul presided as several criminal cases moved through the Deer Lodge court. Prohibition Agent Jack Marmon and Assistant Waddell raided a moonshine outfit about 10 miles southeast of Bainville on the Missouri river. They held two men, Bronnel and a man known as Mike, bail set at 600 dollars. The distillery included two stills and 400 gallons of mash. no liquor found, plant destroyed. The men were strangers in the area.
