Boy Fractures Neck While Playing Football

Twelve year old Don Tourdotte of Glasgow fractured his neck in two places during football. No paralysis or pain followed the accident. X rays show the fractures. he walks with a plaster cast and is believed to suffer no lasting effects. He is the son of Mr and Mrs Ira Tourtlotte.

Eggers Recommends $100 Per Capita For Indians

A Fort Kipp meeting of Fort Peck Cornell Progressive Indians discussed plans to challenge the Tribal Council. The group, formed earlier to curb the council, could not reach agreement on a campaign. They urged Supt. Eggers to push a $100 per capita payment for all competent Indians with monthly disbursements for minors, aged, and dependent individuals.

Kreis Wins Prize In Yard Garden Contest

Mrs H C Kreis of Glasgow formerly a Wolf Point resident won first prize of 25 dollars in a yard and garden contest run by local clubs. Other Wolf Point alums including Mrs John Bakken Mrs O F Krause Mrs Cecil Dykstra and Mrs Paul Purkett won smaller prizes. Senator McCone Dies in Glendive at 75

State Senator George McCone, a Montana legislator for decades and influential banker, died in Glendive after a long illness. A native of New York born April 1854, he arrived in Montana in 1877 and became a leading rancher and bank executive. He is survived by four children and his former wife.

Farewell Party for The Aldrich Family

Neighbors gathered at the Aldrich home in Waska country for a social farewell party Wednesday evening. A fine lunch was served before Mr and Mrs Aldrich and guests including Hagen Star Olson Warden Lund Cha bot and others left by motor for Thompson Falls Montana with a carload of household goods shipped by rail.
