Dagmar Man Enjoyed Farm U Convention Thanks to Wolf Point

Dagmar resident Henry B. Syverud wrote to The Herald praising Wolf Point hospitality at the Farm Union convention. He noted daytime KGCX broadcasts were fine but evenings suffered interference. He and visitors Andrew Dahl and Ole Boe attended, with compliments on highway No. 2. The Butte Degree of Honor group also reported good time but bad weather en route.

Judge Roy E. Ayers of Lewis town, a Democratic candidate for Congress, will address voters on KGCX Monday at seven o clock in the evening. He plans to speak from his car on the street at four o clock in the afternoon.

Senator and Mrs. B. K. Wheeler traveled through Wolf Point en route from Sidney to Glasgow for a democratic rally and banquet. John Coffey, Dr. Cloud, P. R. Dougherty, and W. J. Kearney joined the group driving over muddy roads. Miles City logged 13 inches of snow. Baker saw a young blizzard as Thomas E. Carey, Democrat candidate for railroad and public service commission, visited Wolf Point on the way to Glasgow.

Mr and Mrs George Bairey were feared lost after departing Scobey with Dewey Lowers in another plane during fog and rain. Lowers searched. Bairey walked into Glersdorf farmhouse then rode to town. A tense afternoon ended with a joyful reunion after the stormy ordeal.

Farmers Holiday Meeting Dates Announced by Montana President
