Undersheriff Out On Eastend Hold-Up
Undersheriff Charles Council loses 22 dollars after a Culbertson Eastend hold-up Monday at 6 10 pm. George Grunst, manager of the Culbertson Filling station owned by Council, was robbed of cash and a $40 watch, locked in a lavatory. Two strangers with revolvers fled. they were later found with a badge and billy clubs but released after Grunst said they were not the culprits. Two suspicious men were detained briefly but released as no solid identity emerged by press time.
