Turkeys show Montana crop drop to twenty percent

Cushman reports the 1929 Montana turkey crop will be about 20 percent smaller than 1928 with shipments to Thanksgiving and Christmas markets likely below 40 carloads. Complaints by Horse Owners Over Fort Peck Roundup
The Indian horse roundup on the Fort Peck reservation draws protests from reservation farmers. County Attorney Foor was approached by horse owners alleging riders drive horses off their range.
