Monthly Club Meeting Program For Womans Club

The Woman's Club plans a monthly program and business meeting in the high school assembly room next Tuesday evening at 8. All women are invited. The health program includes songs, plays, recitations, papers, talks and health films featuring the Fourth Grade, Third Grade, Mrs Listerud, Ruth Herman, Alfredia Hagen, Mrs Schoening and Mrs Marshall.

Christmas Seals On Sale December 1 In Roosevelt County

Mrs Zada Butler touring Roosevelt County examined 2316 children finding 4000 defects mainly dental decay and enlarged tonsils. Nine active tuberculosis cases were found, four adults among them, with two already sent to Galen. Red Cross funds are unused in the county, and Christmas seal sales support clinics. The Wolf Point coal sale proceeds fund health work with sales running through December.

Court orders issued to compel canvassing board attendance

Deputy Reece traveled to Poplar from Wolf Point to compel the county canvassing board to appear in Helena at ten o clock Monday November 27 to show cause why election returns from Precincts 3 28 and 31 were not canvassed. The orders came from the State Supreme Court following action by Norris Hurd and Rhoades of Great Falls. Commissioner Leeson opposed the move, placing him in a different status from Patch and Tidland.
