Ted Will Fined 300 For Disturbing The Peace
Ted Will appeared before Judge Trudge Gordon on November 9 charged with disturbing the peace. He paid a $300 fine and the case notes his prior capture by Supt. Eggers and deputies near Poplar on November 2 with three ten gallon kegs of contraband liquor in his Chrysler. The vehicle and liquor were seized and Will was held for hearing on $500 bonds. He reportedly bought back the car, totaling over $1,000 in costs for the affair.

E. J. Williams of Culbertson won third prize with a load of Duroc Jerseys shown at the Pacific International in Portland. The car arrived late, lowering display, but sold for 11.25 per hundredweight, with premiums of 11.00 and 11.50 for second and grand champions. The carload, bred and fed on Williams’s farm, used a registered Duroc boar and sows, with pigs farrowed April 12 to May 2 and raised on sweet clover rye, grain and meal supplemented feed. A. W. Warden faced a 6 month suspended sentence for failing to provide for his wife and child, conditioned on $15 monthly support after pleading guilty. The bond was $500.

Malta Woman Dies After Casting Vote
