He suffered a broken shoulder bone three broken ribs and a badly bruised hip. He was riding a strange horse when it pitched and the cinch broke, sending him to the ground. Miss Nettie Nelson wed John Appelgren at the Appelgren home in a Armistice Day ceremony attended by close relatives. Both residents of the community for years, Mrs. Appelgren is a chief operator at the telephone office and Mr. Appelgren has worked for S. T. Cogswell in his store. County seat moved to Poplar amid political claims
Local reports allege Roosevelt county has shifted its county seat to Poplar after 3700 voters weighed in on election day. Of 1309 Cast ballots favored Poplar while 2381 supported another location, despite laws favoring Mundak for now. Critics accuse politicians of manipulating the outcome to serve their interests.

C B Catlin Dies After Appendicitis Operation
Word reached Wolf Point friends that C B Catlin formerly manager of the Dan McAllen & Co. store died on the morning of November 2 after an operation for appendicitis. He was operated on October 19 when the appendix burst and peritonitis set in. He faced several internal hemorrhages in the days before his death, and recovery seemed unlikely.

Wheat Growers Plan Short Term Bonds Issue
Spokane reports the Washington & Idaho Wheat Growers association will place up to five hundred thousand dollars in bonds on the market. Bonds will be secured by wheat warehouse receipts at a ratio of one bushel per dollar. Denominations are 250 500 and 1000 dollars. Interest rate to be announced and maturity set for June 1 1921.
