Funeral in Williston for Mary Leonhardy pioneer hotelier
Mrs. Mary Leonhardy died at 77, having built Williston's first hotel now part of the Great Northern. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas KR Forbes attended from Williston, noting the deceased as an intimate pioneer. She was sister to Debs Bruegger, an early Northwest North Dakota merchant.

After a long layoff some gentry introduced a cash and carry system. Burglars used a sledge and chisel to break into Cy Johnson's Billiard Hall, stealing about 108 dollars and a small amount of change. They fled through the rear, then moved to Walter Sinnott's garage, taking a Ford sedan. the car was later found abandoned in Minot, North Dakota.
