Postmaster Faces Local Post Office Crisis After Burglary

Inspector Mark spent days at Wolf Point office amid a burglary at the Richey post office. Postmaster Hanson, in office since 1915, admits a short balance due to mounting debts from stamps losses, building costs, and delayed funds. Ford People Hold District Meeting In This City

Ford representatives and Oliver Chilled Plow officials met in this city for a Northwest district session covering Wil liston to Malta. The afternoon session in the Palm Room of the Sherman featured selling plans and manager talks followed by a banquet. E K Jenkins gave remarks and a moving picture Ford feature was shown. Visitors toured the Motor Sales Company where H C Ditmarson manages service. Several Ford agents and local managers attended, praising the meeting’s success and Montana prospects.

Great Northern Slashes Immigrant Goods Rates

The Great Northern Railway announces a new immigrant rate effective April 10, dropping to 25 cents per 100 pounds for most goods including machinery household items seed hay and livestock. Splendid Time at the Legion Ball

The Camp Fire girls stage a successful play and training pays off. A busy schedule for Fire Prevention Week includes programs March 29 through May 27 with assemblies, musical numbers, a fifth grade trial playlet, a fire safety reel, and a 25 cent admission to fund a school machine.
