Helena March 2 With no dissent the Montana House adopted an impeachment resolution against Charles T. Stewart of Helena after a two hour executive session. If sustained by the Senate he faces removal. Governor Erickson would name a temporary successor. Charges allege squandering funds and breach of constitutional duties in publishing amendments and other state financial practices. This marks the first MT administrative officer impeachment in state history.

Indian Pupils Give Program at Wolf Point Indian School
Pupils at Wolf Point Indian Training school presented a patriotic program in the Presbyterian church last Sunday evening. Performances featured multilingual musical numbers in Dakota, Spanish and English, with teachers guiding the show. School Board Votes to Transfer Dry Fork Teacher
The Alstrict 45 school board met Friday night and decided to place a teacher at Dry Fork until April 1, when Wolf Point high school's normal training department will assume control. Appointed election judges for April 2 were Mrs. W. A. Lovell, Mrs. W. J. Burnison and Mrs. I. L. Jensett. Routine business was handled before adjournment.

Malu James Garthofner, famed as the sheep king of the Missouri breaks, was in Malta with alfalfa seed. He owns a three year old ewe that reportedly holds a world record for a litter of seven lambs. Several ewes in the Garthofner band yielded four lambs, only one fewer than three. He predicts eastern Montana will see a lambing rate near 400 percent next year.

Wolves Victors Prep for State Meet in Montana District
