Eddie Miller known as Kid Miller arrived from Minot and will train daily at the Oxford gym for a week with Chief Rob bins as he prepares to meet Alexander Knaub in Glasgow on March 10. Robbins trains for his Minneapolis bout with Bat Me Night at the Liberty in Wolf Point on March 16. Admission to see the boxing fits is 25 cents to defray Miller’s expenses. McNight is due March 13 to finish prep for Robbins clash.

Washington Feb 20 The site of the 1877 Nez Perce battle led by Chief Joseph with General Miles would be withdrawn from entry under a Scott Leavitt bill passed by the House. The Interior Secretary would enter an agreement with locals for upkeep of the 160 acre tract near Chinook. The battle marked the last armed clash of major consequence between Indians and whites.
