Leora Belle Adams Dies at Home Near Frazer
Mrs Leora Belle Adams wife of Wily Adams died at their Frazer area home on June 8 after two weeks illness from peritonitis. She was born January 19 1894 in Belle Plaine Town to Edward W Lyons and his wife. The body was to be shipped to the former home for burial.

Farmers Sell Balance of Crop at Wolf Point Elevators
A large quantity of 1921 grain remained to be marketed at Wolf Point elevators from north and south. Farmers finished seeding and sped up sales while prices stayed favorable, with buyers paying five to six cents per bushel more than nearby towns. Estimated 30 to 65 loads daily, about 3,000 bushels on average, mostly from south of the river. Wheat acreage similar to last year, more flax and corn due to wet spring. Reports of excellent crop conditions come from all directions.

An estimated 2000 plus Indian participants will join parades dances and extravagant acts with a barbecue for visitors. The event aims to attract National Editorial Tourists and end with a spectacular finale on July 29. The effort includes a $2000 fund pledge from local businesses and support from Superintendent James B Kitch.

Proposed Taxes Shift Burden to State Resources
Two measures the Inheritance Tax Law and Income Tax Law seek to reallocate school funding. Last year the state apportioned 17.80 per pupil. local districts bear most costs, spurring levies and high millage. The measures would place a larger share on undeveloped state resources and tax property transfers to residents and nonresidents, with certain exemptions.
Two Women Injured in Runaway Buggy Accident
Mrs. Steve Marmon and Miss Gladys Henderson were injured when a buggy driven by Marmon overturned near Beyers farm north of town. Marmon suffered facial scratches from a wire fence. Henderson sustained a serious leg fracture with multiple bone breaks. Dr. T. M. Morrow dispatched to transport them.
