Three youths confess guilt in larceny charge
Friday night of last week the Cogawell store at Oldtown was broken into and over $50 in cash, gloves, cigarets, watches and other items stolen. Thornburg confessed after arrest, implicating Olson and Dietrich. They pleaded guilty in district court to grand larceny and face sentencing June 22. Dietrich, Thornburg, and Olson are 18 to 22, all first offenders. Olson said he planned the robbery for free board.

Outbuildings lost roofs, Will Remley's house roof blew off, a wall collapsed, and livestock including turkeys and chickens were harmed.
