Tragic Death of For Mer Local Residents
The Herald reports the St Paul clipping about Charles F Comstock and his wife being found dead in a Ford at Minnetonka Mills after a second honeymoon reconciliation. Charles shot his wife through the left temple, then killed himself with a right temple shot. A 82 calibre revolver and four empty shells were found. the couple had been married about three years and had recently reconciled before the fatal trip.

Johnsons Return From Minnesota And Dakota Trip
Johnson and family returned Thursday morning from a three week visit with relatives in Minnesota and the Dakotas. They began in Fergus Falls where they spent the Fourth, then toured numerous summer resorts in the Park Region. They enjoyed good pike and bass fishing on many lakes and admired Minnesota state roads. He noted a very dry summer and a wheat crop indicator near their home.

Land Deal Unites North Dakota Investor With Flora Partner
John O. Garden, a leading local real estate dealer, and W. W. Whipple of Flora, Benson county, North Dakota, completed a deal last week giving Whipple ownership of a half section located about 25 miles north of here.
