Gallatin County Union Bids For Wheat In Bozeman Area
Les ter H. Todd field manager for the Gallatin County Union visits farmers in the Bozeman area to buy wheat and ship it to eastern mills. The cooperative pays 10 to 12 cents above elevator card prices, handles durum and other varieties, and settles 90 percent on delivery with 10 percent later. Last Rites Held For William B Sibbits At Presbyterian Church
William Bigler Sibbits was honored at a Sunday service in a full Presbyterian church. Indian and white attendees, including Sibbits Jr. of the 73rd Field Artillery, gathered with family as Rev. Alfred Hendrickson led a tribute to a life spent in the West. A military guard and pallbearers accompanied the procession to the Indian cemetery for burial beside his wife. Born July 17 1852 in Carlisle Pa Sibbits left for the West at age 12 and later served as a musician in the U S Cavalry.
