Dr DeWane's Car Recovered In Crosby Claim
Crosby North Dakota officers received word that Dr DeWane's stolen Ford from his garage last fall is held in Crosby. The man in possession, using several aliases, is jailed in Divide County on a liquor charge for ten months. A wax paper bread wrapper from Dick's Bread helped identify the car with Wolf Point officers supplying numbers. One officer plans to retrieve the vehicle once roads allow. No action against the thief until his sentence ends.

A four way referendum was sent to a three member committee led by H N Marron to draft resolutions. A St Patrick's Day dance was approved with A M Harvey and Wm Jacobi named to handle arrangements. A shift to a new organizational form was discussed for future meetings and proceedings. Commander Foor attended a Culbertson meeting with state officials of the Montana National Guard. A daughter was born to Mr and Mrs Fred Buettner on Sunday Feb 9.

Born August 7, 1921, she was laid to rest in Greenwood cemetery after services at the Lutheran church led by Rev. Hendrickson. The parents and community extend sympathy in their bereavement.
