Abutment A is finished, Pier one reaches 80 feet, Pier two 70 feet with rock in the river bed, Pier three 24 feet, Pier four excavation at 34 feet. Steel for the super structure expected mid September. Mrs. Anna M. Nelson of Opheim survived a lightning strike on her chimney and was up the next day.

Third Frazer still raid captured by Eggers force
The third of four large stills stolen last winter from Frazer agency warehouse was found Wednesday eight miles east of town in heavy brush on the Missouri river side across from Jim Pedigo's place. The 165 gallon still was nearly ready for drawing. operators fled. A large wooden tank was found, and the vats and equipment destroyed in the river. Deputies Thompson Greene and Mitchell assisted Superintendent Eggers in the raid.
