First New Wheat Weighs 64 Pounds at Wolf Point Elevators
L A Jacobs of Vida delivered the first new wheat to Phil Dougherty at the Wolf Point Grain Company elevator. It graded No 1 and weighed 64 pounds per bushel. A sample shows it clean plump and of fine color. Jacobs threshed only a small portion of a 60 acre field, but expects a large yield.
