Hardies Return From Coast Trip
Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Hardie and Miss Iris Hardie finished a 3000 mile auto tour to the west coast. They started from Wolf Point July 2, traveled through Chinook Great Falls Spokane and Edmonds Washington then ferried Puget Sound to Sequim visiting a son Hubert. A fishing party near Sequim yielded 70 mountain trout. They were joined by Max Legge of Chinook for the return via Portland Walla Walla and Spokane visiting relatives along the way. The only complaint was the length of the month.

Death Claims Jerry Flynn in Wolf Point Community
Jerry Flynn a Wolf Point resident since early this year died from an acute heart attack Tuesday night after attending a show and visiting friends. He was a retired railroad switchman who built the Pad store building and spent recent months improving his property. Burial is planned in St Paul. survived only by his widow.

Dan Noble Resigns for Milwaukee Railway Post
Dan B. Noble, Fergus county agent for three years, resigns to join the Chicago Milwaukee and Pacific Railway as agricultural agent for the western area. He will work in Montana Washington and Idaho and keep his Montana residence. Last June he retired as state commander of the American Legion.

DeWanes in Auto Accident on Yellowstone Trip
Dr J C DeWane, wife and two children, returning from Michigan on the Yellowstone trail, survived a crash in a Viking car when the rear swung and overturned twice. The doctor freed himself, cut power to prevent fire, and helped the family out. All except the parents sustained minor injuries. tire failure likely caused the crash. The car was driven to Williston for reconditioning and the trip continued by train.

Youngkin Auto Accident Near Bartel Place
Mr and Mrs Ben Youngkin driving to Dry Fork to fetch Lorraine and Marjorie had a steering rod break while traveling between 95 and 40 mph near Bartel place eighteen miles north of town. The car sank in loose sand but did not overturn and only caused a severe shaking and bruised joints. Youngkin called the experience a queer sensation as the steering apparatus broke off in motion.
