Would-Be Gun Man Gets 90-Day Sentence
Albert Kennedy a young man of Indian or part Indian blood was arrested by Chief Shamley and brought before Judge Gordon on a charge of carrying concealed weapons. A Colt 25 Automatic was found on him. Kennedy known as a would be bad man, had troubled officers previously. County Attorney Marron prosecuted and Judge Gordon sentenced him to 90 days in the county jail.

New City Scale Ready for Use at City Hall
Contractor Howe installed a new ten ton scale to replace the old city hall scales. The high class scale offers double capacity and up to date accuracy with a self-register beam. Profs Win Tight Volleyball Clash at High School Gym
A three-team volleyball round at the high school gym ends the season with professionals, business men, and clerks. The pros beat the clerks, then the businessmen swept the clerks, and the final pro matchup vs the businessmen was decided by one point. A lunch plated by home economics girls accompanied the trophy. Commissioner Leeson Involved In Nasty Car Spill
