The Rev. S A Walker H T Smith Miss Ruth Parker and Mrs J A Nickel represented the local church at a Havre district Presbytery meeting this week. Rev Clarence Orner of Poplar also attended. Walker and Elder B G Hellen were elected commissioners to the General Assembly in St Paul in May. Parker spoke on China work and her training school activities at Wolf Point.

Fremont Farmer Loses Home in Windy Monday Fire
Fremont Green's farm residence north of Volt burned to the ground Monday afternoon with all contents. Green was in town Wednesday buying a household outfit. He suspects a spark from the stove ignited material on the floor. The 18x24 frame house had no insurance and held furniture, supplies, clothing, and hedging. Green irrigated crops and wheat in recent years.

Tractor Drops Off S C Bridge
A Hart-Parr tractor pulling a road drag driven by Bob Steffenson left Sand Creek bridge on Sand Creek road last week. A broken steering ball caused loss of control. Steffenson escaped uninjured, climbing to safety as it fell. The tractor required only about $20 in repairs once recovered.

Camrud Ranch Sold to Men From Chinook
Richard Camrud of the Benrud country sold his 800 acre Cottonwood ranch last Saturday to H. Dick and Henry Dahl of Chinook through F. A. Schmidt for 1000 dollars.
