Cliff House party honors at closing event with prize winners
The Cliff House hosted a closing night party with elaborate costumes and electric veranda lighting. Judges from Boston and nearby cities awarded prizes to Mrs Granville L. Burton and Miss Sue Hoxie for outfits Cigarette and Bo peep. In a separate incident a Nation Gauge train crew extinguished a rear fire near Shirlay station Winthrop with buckets before resuming service to East Boston ferry.
