Farewell Reception for Barretts at Unitarian Church
A farewell reception for Mr and Mrs Frank S Barrett was held Friday evening October 8 in the vestry of the Unitarian Church before they move to Duxbury Massachusetts. Ushers Mrs A B Dunham and Mrs Charles O Brown guided guests as they spoke words of farewell and light refreshments followed. Litchfield Root Cook and Battis offered remarks and the Good Cheer Alliance with the church standing committee presented a cut glass jardiniere on a plateau mirror as a parting gift. The departure is deeply regretted by their many friends in town and especially by church members.

Bridesmaid Miss Kate Shaughnessey and best man Mr James A Cotter of Roslindale attended. The couple planned a reception at Mrs George Verdi’s home and will live in Dorchester after a late train trip to New York and Washington.
