Death of Lawrence K. Smith in Winthrop
Lawrence K. Smith died at his home on Marshall Street last Sunday from a complication of diseases. Unmarried, he lived with his father Hadoran Smith and worked as baggage master at Center station. Born in East Boston 27 years ago, he lived in Winthrop most of his life and belonged to the BR B& L Relief Association. Funeral services were held Tuesday at Skaggs undertaking rooms, conducted by Rev. W. J. Day, with interment in Winthrop Cemetery family lot.
