Q and Q Club Holds Seventh Meeting at Webber Home
The Q and Q club met Tuesday afternoon at Mrs. Charles H. Webber's 171 Shore Drive with Mrs. Cora V. Pierce presiding. Delegates for the mid winter federation meeting were elected as Mrs. Jessie L. Leonard and Mrs. Josephine M. Tyler. Mrs. Della G. Howe became assistant secretary. An invitation was extended for a social evening at Mr. and Mrs. I. B. O'Brien 55 Wave Way Avenue for Saturday with husbands as guests. Music by pianist Maud Paradis Lane. The design of a club pin was approved and ordered. Mrs. Laura L. Cummings presented a Jamaica paper with curios from the island. The adjourned meeting will be at Mrs. Carl G. Brightman 70 Atlantic Street for a paper on Indian Life and Customs in Alaska.

Death of Philip Daley Father of Mrs Cornelius Doherty
Philip Daley aged about 70 died at his daughter’s home 36 Pearl avenue after years of illness. Born in New York he received early education there and lived 40 years in Charlestown. A marble cutter by trade he is survived by six children. His funeral was held at 8 am at 86 Pearl avenue with a solemn high mass at St John the Evangelist church at 9 am.
