Pleasant evening at Mrs. Martin Sullivan’s Belcher Street home last Thursday as Nenehawis Club members gift a bridal shower to Louise Cody. A wedding match impressed, confetti showered on entry, decorated rooms with arrows hearts and cupids, a bridal set presented by club president M Sullivan, hearts game enjoyed then collation served. The High School Hall hosted the fourth number of the scholar ship lecture course with Miss Lucy Allen introducing David Snedden who outlined four main educational problems: physical, civic, cultural, and vocational. He urged more vocational schools, Scouts as citizen education, and expanding state scholarships to aid poorer students.

The Kewpie Klub held a Valentine dancing party Saturday evening at the Cliff House with seventy five couples. Guests received red candy boxes and red pink favors. The rib bon dance featured ribbons tossed between dancers creating a colorful display. Mrs. Cynthia A. Wade died Sunday at her daughter's home on George Street Cambridge after forty years in the city. funeral services were held Wednesday at the Baptist Church with Rev. Wm. J. Day officiating. Interment at Winthrop Cemetery. She was born in 1839 in St. George Maine and survived by husband Watson C. Wade a daughter Mrs. William Fossett and a sister in Everett. She was a longtime devoted member of the Baptist Church.

Rangers Exhibit At Frost Library Showcases Curios from Many Lands
The Rangers exhibited a diverse collection Thursday and Friday featuring items from Louisiana sugar cane to Mexican shells, Bermuda tortoise shells, Cuban moss, Panama wood pieces, and artifacts from California to New Hampshire. Notable displays included a bottle grown pear preserved in alcohol, geodes, pressed ferns, shells, rocks, and antique beads, with contributions from Mrs. Anna B. Moody, Mrs. Nellie Winegar, Mrs. E. D. Osborne, and many other members.
