Two Boston youths held for grand jury on burglary
James H. Cunningham and Frank E Walsh waived examination in East Boston District Court and were held on 2000 dollar bonds for breaking and entering at night and larceny. Walsh also faces 500 dollar extra bonds for possession of burglar tools. They were caught leaving the Bradbury house by Patrolman Buckley after Mrs. Elmer Tewkesbury alerted police. burglary occurred while occupants were visiting in Brooklyn.

Fire in Leighton House Destroys Roof on Cliff Avenue
A blaze in the roof and attic of Leighton House on Cliff Avenue at 10 15 p m drove 15 guests into the street and caused about 1000 in damage before firefighters stopped it. A passerby alerted Mrs J P Lillebach, the proprietor’s wife, who woke her husband and all lodgers. The fire, started likely by defective wiring, was confined to the roof and attic with water damage to the rest of the house. The town’s new auto truck made its first run

Valentine Luncheon at Winthrop Yacht Club Delights Ladies
A large group of women braved the cold to attend a Valentine luncheon at the Winthrop Yacht Club. The hall featured heart emblems and streamers. lunch was prepared and served by Mrs. Ennis, Mrs. Rouillard, Mrs. Gardner, and Mrs. Clark. Afterward, whist and bridge games followed the meal.
