Henry Rutherford Thompson of Ingleside Avenue died Friday January 19 after a long illness. Born in Brooklyn to the late Henry B. Thompson, he started as a successful accountant and salesman. He owned estates in Northampton and Hudson before settling in Winthrop. He was a devoted Christian and leaves a wife a son and a daughter. Thompson previously worked at Segal's Creamery for several years.
