Colonial Day Held By Popular Authors' Club Guests in Historic Costumes
The Popular Authors' Club marked its twentieth Colonial Day with about thirty members, hosting Mrs. W. H. Mirick. Members wore period gowns, including outfits owned by grandmothers, while a program on Our Grandmothers featured readings and music. A December 10 meeting at Mrs. Tobey’s home was announced and a wedding anniversary celebration drew fifty guests at Mr. and Mrs. Reardon’s Moore Street residence.

Hurd Allen Wedding On Ocean View Street
Lyda D Allen youngest daughter of Captain and Mrs Henry A Allen married J Allan Hurd of Waltham on a Wednesday afternoon last week.
