Navy Ensign Bourn Completes Six Landings On Carrier
James S. Bourn son of Mr and Mrs James S Bourn Winters Texas made six arrested landings aboard USS Antietam during basic flight training at Saufley Field Naval Auxiliary Air Station Pensacola Florida His landings qualified 16 student naval aviators to advance to the next training stage toward earning their Wings of Gold.
