The Veterans' Land Board will accept sealed bids at the General Land Office in Austin until 10:00 A.M. on November 15, 1966 for 104 land tracts. Lynn C. Canady aged 61 died at 11 10 p m Saturday at the home of his daughter Mrs Q O Murray in Winters after a yearlong illness. Funeral held at 3 p m Monday at Seventh Street Baptist Church Ballinger with Rev Bill Swindler officiating. Burial in Old Runnels Cemetery. Survived by wife two daughters Patsy Jo Clark and Jackie Nell Murray of Winters a son Vernon of Freeport two brothers and three sisters and seven grandchildren. pallbearers named.
