Seventeen members of the Bethany Sunday School Class at First Baptist Church gathered in the home of Mrs. Inez Mills for their monthly business meeting. Co hostess was Mrs. Lorene Moreland. roll call featured Bible verses and Mrs. Oliver Wood led the devotion. Attending were Mesdames Sneed Wood McBeth Mills Moreland Lacy Virden Traylor Tierce McWilliams Priddy Irvin Milliorn Harrison Scott Martin Briley.

The Board of Directors of North Runnels County Hospital District meets to set the April 5 1975 election date for three directors to serve two years. Nominating petitions must be signed by at least 10 qualified electors and filed with the secretary at least 10 days prior. Absentee voting is designated for the North Runnels Hospital Business Office with named clerks and presiding officers at Winters and Wingate polling sites.
The Ophelia Group of Winters United Methodist Women met at Mrs. M L Dobbins home with Mrs. M G Middlebrook presiding. Devotional prayer followed as members participated in a Bible miracles program. Attendees included Mes dames Baldwin Dobbins Hook Kelsey Leeman Mayhew Middlebrook Nelson Vinson and Mathis. The Wingate Sew and Sew Club met March 4 at the Methodist Church. one quilt finished and one pieced. Next meeting is March 18 with dues due and hostesses Lorene Kinnard and Dorothy Cave.
Mrs Raymond Kurtz attended a birthday dinner for Janie and Janet Carey at their grandmother Mrs Truman Dieke's home. Numerous Dieke and Carey relatives joined, along with visitors including the Lopez, Hambright, Collom, and Albarn families. Mrs Gus Gerhart recuperating after surgery, Mrs Ralph Lopez and Billy in Galveston hospital, and Jack Bragg recently discharged.
