Miss Bessie Mae Wheeless aged 63 died after a stroke en route to Winters hospital. In Winters Texas she taught for 24 years at Winters Elementary and prior served in Happy and Norton. Survived by two brothers J S Wheeless and W O Wheeless and sister in law Mrs Jewel Wheeless with several nieces and nephews. Burial in Northview Cemetery after 4:30 p m funeral at Spill Memorial Chapel led by Rev Harry Grantz.
