A Saturday afternoon shower honored Judy Kettler with Ann Bean presiding. Guests enjoyed a green and white decor while gifts lined white linen tables. The double ring ceremony was led by Dr H K Neely of Bolivar Missouri with music by Mrs A L Thomas and performances by family members. The bride wore a white peau de soie gown, veil with a cabbage rose, and carried feathered carnations with a white orchid. maid of honor and bridesmaids wore dusty rose satin dresses. A reception followed in the church fellowship hall and the couple departed for a Dallas trip in a pink and white three piece suit.

Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Voss hosted relatives including Mrs. Buford Guy and families from Winters and Abilene for a Cisco wedding. The bride, a Cisco High School graduate, plus the groom, a Texas Tech and Cisco Junior College alumnus, prepared at 500 Ave H Cisco after July 23. The rehearsal dinner was at the Spot Restaurant.
