Burial Wingate Cemetery. Born January 13 1886 in Searcy County Arkansas he moved to Texas at 14, married Ella Walker in 1906, lived near Wingate and Taylor County, retired from farming in 1960. Survived by wife a son L W Byrd a daughter Mrs Alton Armstrong five grandchildren and one great grandchild. Pallbearers listed.
