My Circuses Then and Now at Cave Creek
Joe Sappington recalls Ringling Brothers circus with nostalgia and critique. He contrasts the old Sans Robertson show from Cave Creek era with modern productions, recounting a mule riding contest and a disputed prize, plus vivid, faded memories of posters, wild animals, and daring acts. Miss Ruth ad Worthy Walden of Abilene and friends visited Winters.
