Two daylight robberies occurred Sunday afternoon in Winslow, at the Federal Bakery and Bill O’Hara tailor shop. About $40 in cash and endorsed checks plus items were stolen from the bakery, while suits and shirts were taken from the tailor shop. Richard Sullivan is jailed on suspicion as police pursue clues, including bank staff tips and a bank notification to stop payment on checks. Continued on page six.
