Man Armed Robber Captured After Running Gun Battle
Eldon Shoop of Lyndon Washington, claimed in Vallejo California he committed a dozen small robberies in Washington state after a running gun battle about 12 shots were fired. Police found four shotguns and rifles four revolvers and three money bags in his car. Bags bore labels from First National Bank Lyndon and other firms. He was arrested by Vallejo police chief W T Stanford and deputies as he tried to flee.
