Winslow Emblem Club Wins Top Bowlers in Miami Event
Emblem Club 103 members returned from the Miami Arizona tournament last weekend with four of seven trophies. Anne Burrage and Louise Sumner won doubles first, Ethel DeVore took singles first, and Sumner captured all events. Other Winslow placers were Joann Kislingbury and Georgia Metzger fourth in doubles, Lindy Chiarmonte and Judy O Connell seventh in doubles, and Sumner second in singles. Trophies will be awarded at the Emblem Club State Convention in Show Low in March. Olive Smith led the club meeting in Jessie Phillips absence.
