Plane goes into tail spin at Winslow airport kills one injures another
J W Hymer a Winslow trainman died at the scene after a bi plane piloted by Ersel Garrison spun from 500 feet. Garrison was seriously hurt with a broken foot and cuts. The crash occurred near the east edge of Apache avenues, witnesses said Hymer panicked and grabbed the control, causing the loop before impact. The Swallow bi plane was wrecked and moved to a lot for removal.
