Captain Lewis Yancey, famed transatlantic flier, landed an autogiro on a terrace of Chichen Itza in Yucatan, Mexico. Dr. Sylvanna Morley of the Carnegie Foundation welcomed him and said aircraft will shorten field trips from six hours by train and wagon to about two hours.
