Kansas City June 30 The Silver Republicans plan their program as Chairman Towne of the national committee arrives. Senator Teller of Colorado may act as temporary chairman with L W Brown of Ohio as permanent head. Bryan is expected to be nominated by both parties the same day. Towne may be nominated for vice president if the Democrats pick another candidate the Silver Republicans will likely ratify.
Congressman William Sulzer of New York and Fred Feigl visited Lincoln and had a private conference with William Jennings Bryan at Bryan's home.
